Appellant was convicted by a jury of voluntary manslaughter and sentenced by the trial court to the Arizona State Prison for not less than nine nor more than 10 years. He argues on appeal that the denial of his motion for a continuance prevented him from presenting his defense. We find that the trial court abused its discretion in denying appellants motion and reverse.
